Creve (pronounced "Krehv") is a community of 11,000 people located at the northwestern corner of Haiti, about 5 miles from Bombardopolis - 100 miles from Port-au-Prince. Haiti is the poorest country in the Americas and daily life in a rural village like Creve can be difficult. With no running water, most of the villagers must walk miles down the mountain to the nearest water source. There they find a cistern built in 1985 by the UN's CARE program which has fallen into disrepair over the years.

As with every summer, Mountain of Hope will be sending a team to Creve to help put on vacation Bible schools in the communities. Additionally, this trip will include a team from Water-4-Nations, which will help finish water transportation and purification systems in two different communities! Pray that God will help the teams as they organize and prepare for the work and that the Gospel will prosper!
